Nissan Almera Tino 2.2 Di SE 2000

Have had this car since 2002 with 70000 miles on the clock. Driven through pretty much every terrain you can think of - including some very muddy off-roading and the beauty keeps taking the abuse and begging me for more. It really is an under-rated MPV - tough, reliable and easy to maintain. Gripes? well the interior could be nicer, cassette deck even in 2002 was out of fashion and has never been any use.The buttons on the dash are a bit cheap looking and over time have proven they are with most of the paintwork peeled off. This is in stark contrast to the exterior as the bodywork has done beautifully - less the marks and scrapes it receives from my adventurous driving. The engine is competent but could do with more power in the lower revs - a known issue with this particular model and is helped only a little by using v-power diesel whenever I go adventuring, which is often. The air mass filter has been replaced twice, check this first if you experience any loss of power and not the throttle sensor that some garages elude to. Overall a great MPV which I’ll happily upgrade to a newer model next year.
