Have leased this car for 3 years, luckily I can hand it back in 2009 - thank god I didn’t buy it. This car has been an absolute nightmare, has been in the garage more times that I can count. Roof continues to leak even though I have been assured on at least 3 occasions that this fault has been rectified. Water was leaking in from driver’s side but after roof was realigned it is now leaking in from passenger side. Was told by Renault that if car was parked on a slope when water leaking, that this is then not a manufacturing fault. I then asked what about when driving round corners and when water comes in, got no reply to this question!! Inside door handles have had to be replaced due to chipping, carpet in footwell has been glued down on at least 4 occasions, alarm keeps going off when raining, gear stick numbers have worn off. Was advised not to wear rings, I would never recommend this car to anyone and am only glad that I can hand it back.
