Aesthetically pleasing, comfortable and sporty. Owned Mercedes in the past, would I buy again - yes! Sporty responsive looks good with hood up or down. Not too in your face.

Superb car, much better than the chavy BMW cabriolet; lots of power, great ride, reliable and classy looking. Good return of diesel if you don’t floor it, but overall a great car.

Had this car a month and hey, I just can not stop driving it about. It is the best car I have ever driven, well apart from the bosses Porsche 911. Mine is the sport auto model and driving in sport mode is such good fun. Can go round corners like a train on tracks. Very sporty and comfortable to drive. Great with the hood down - at the touch of a button. Xeon headlights is like driving in daylight. Air con is tops and you can freeze if you want to. Nice 18 inch wheels and 235/40/18 tyres holds the road nicely. Plenty of good ones around if you want one.

Since owning the car I have only done 24,000 miles. It’s got to go back for a new steering rack due to failure, the rear suspension has some fault as rear tyre keeps wearing on the inside edge, the clutch is very juddery when warm and in traffic, road noise from the front wheels and rear bearing noise. Good points:- I enjoy the drive; the power is always responsive and fuel mpg is very good. Would I buy this car again... not a chance!

Looks great but is very limited in space in the back. Engine is a bit rattly but once you are underway it is hard to tell it is a diesel. My main problem with this car is that the driving position is uncomfortable on long trips. The vibration from the engine makes your foot go to sleep and that can be very annoying. Roof works very well and is nowhere near as noisy as I expected. If you are a local driver with no kids and you can use the cabriolet regularly then it is not a bad buy otherwise avoid it. Next time I am getting a Jaguar XF, hopefully that will be a bit more practical.

From new had numerous problems with the car from CD player working intermittently to a new engine at 7000 miles. Three clutches, which still judders to this day, power steering pump and new front suspension joints. The strong point i the engine which has good torque, brakes average. Ride is very firm although I think this may be down to the 18 inch wheels with 45 profile tyres. Fuel consumption average 35.

I chose the family friendly 1.8T A4 and it is top-quality, superbly crafted and refined. Great performance and handling and suprisingly roomy in the front and back.

This is a very classy car, roof works with a minimum of fuss and does not leave you open to the elements when down. Feels safe, is reliable and offers plenty of oomph when accelerating. First class all round. 5 stars.

Fantastic little number that whilst offering all the sportiness you could ever want still feels very safe and solid to drive. I have previously always gone with BMW but am glad I strayed. Turns heads everywhere I go!
