Renault Master Minibus consumer car reviews

Tony Scarlet, England

Renault Master Minibus 1999

3 star review

I bought one of these 10 years ago and it is still running. I have had full service oil service each year and new alternator fitted apart from that its been perfect and a joy to driver. You get what you pay for, the interior is simple and can get tatty after prolonged use but it’s worth changing to leather by a trade specialist. Beware of overheating problem when buying used Renault Master Minibuses.

Renault Master Minibus 2006

4 star review

The engine response is fantastic. Surprising acceleration for that size of vehicle, even when loaded. Steering is very shurefooted in all conditions. I found driving this bus very comfortable and enjoyable even on long journeys. Good view allround thanks to well positioned driver’s seat (above passangers seats) mirrors and door windows. Lower based passanger platform provides extra headroom amd easier access. When cold the gear changes are a bit stiff but fine after few miles. Rear suspension could be softer for passangers comfort. Steering wheel size is more of a truck. No major mechanical or reliability issue after 80K. Good van.
