Nissan Qashqai+2 1.8 2008

We love our car! We bought a place in France and needed to lug loads of stuff from the uk over there. We could not have made a better choice for comfort, reliability, space in the rear etc. The only downside we have found is that the opening for the hatchback is limited compared to the space inside; great for fitting in lots of smaller items, but if the opening was larger there would be enough space to carry much larger items too. Also the sat nav doesn’t work from postcodes, which would be an advantage, but these are very minor complaints really. We highly recommend this as a family bus!!

Nissan Qashqai+2 acenta 2009

This is my wife’s car. I’ve always driven Fords so this is our first anything else. The diesel is underpowered compared to the tdci but drives well, handles well, standard equipment way above Ford. panoramic roof is fantastic. Build quality is great. I wanted an s-max but now glad I was overruled. Buy one.

Nissan Qashqai+2 2.0 dci tekna 2009

Test drove the following cars: Mazda5, new Toyota Verso, Outlander, Captiva, S-Max, C-Max and Insignia. S-Max still best of the bunch but way to pricey (and a bit too big for the missus). But Qashqai+2 not that far behind. Excellent diesel-engine, great seats (leather in mine), very large panoramic roof, room enough in the boot (family of 4). Highly recommended.

Nissan Qashqai+2 Tekna 2008

Sorry, I’ve not got mine yet, but felt the first review is truly unfair since at the time of the review the vehicle had not even gone on sale, let alone available for hire! All magazine road tests have been positive so far, so a 1-star is just plain stupid..!

Nissan Qashqai+2 Diesel 2008

If I could have put it, I would have put minus 1 star. The diesel engine is really under powered I feel like a snail going up hill and the design is basically just a shell with no interior design thoughts. One positive is its only a hire car and goes back next week.
