The Nissan Juke is a mini SUV from Nissan. The production version made its debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show in March and was introduced to North America at the 2010 New York International Auto Show. The Juke is based around the running gear of the Renault Clio and Nissan's Cube and outgoing Micra K12C, although as new models evolve so the platform will undergo a number of changes, and Juke’s underpinnings are no exception. For its application on Juke, it has been lengthened, widened and significantly strengthened and lightened to enhance safety, refinement, and fuel efficiency.

1.5 dCI Manual Acenta Premium - The idea of sticking a supermini inside an SUV is an odd one but Nissan’s twisted crossover strikes a good balance and successfully integrates what motorists love most about both cars. Practicality may not be a strong point but a stylish and bubbly drive is virtually guaranteed. [...]

One driver’s ultra-modern crossover is another oddball. Yes, it’s the Nissan Juke: a car more certain to split opinion than Marmite. For all its unusual-ness, though, the Juke is a fairly straightforward, if pricey, alternative to most superminis at heart. If the cost is a concern, take a look at th [...]

Nissan Juke 1.5dci Acenta Premium 2011

5 star review

Brilliant, great car to drive, ok not hot hatch scorching but good. Diesel is giving 53mpg (calculated not dash reading) between motorway and city driving so I’m pleased. Boot could be bigger and rear looks small until you get in there, where it feels comfortable. Handles and rides comfortably with good driver feel, a bit of roll but it whips through bends ok. Sat and ICE good. Would buy another.

Nissan Juke 1.6 L D.I.G. Turbo Xtronic CVT Transmission 2011

5 star review

I am not in my 20’s and yet the Nissan JUKE has captured my years of driving experience. Its not quite Race material but it sets me back in my seat upon turbo assisted acceleration. This car leaves the driver feeling they are ’noticed’. I’m a little disapointed in the fuel economy but everyone who has seen it admires it’s snappy, unique exterior and it’s sporty interior. Everything I wanted in my next car, this JUKE has it all. Easy to recommend. The insurance and premium fuel may cost a bit more but one needs to accept that there is generally always a price to pay for such quality. I’m also a licensed auto mechanic but all it offers pushes even my skilled mechanical expertise. I LOVE IT!

Nissan Juke SV 2011

4 star review

The promise of this car is better than what it actually is. It’s smaller than it looks but I’m ok with that, its ’cheaper’ than it looks but that’s a good thing. Where it falls down is on performance and ergonomics. Even with the reportedly hi tech 188 hp intercooled turbo charged direct injection 4, it struggles and whines to perform. I agree with other critics about the need for manual in the top of the line awd SV. Although I like the look of the car, its beginning to lose its funky charm. Buyer’s remorse... maybe. Its a competent vehicle, just not the stand out I had hoped.

We brought our Juke last June and have nothing but good things to say about it. One thing that must be said is that you have to give the petrol model a miss and go for diesel, you will not be disappointed. It has the power and the mpg - Mike Farmer from Kent
