Isuzu NKR 2007

Mine drives like a boat. I had it checked and it’s fine, but any slite bump in the road and it bounces. It’s also very tight in the cab; I would hate to have a crash in it (I’m 5ft 6). The fridge box is too high and doesn’t look fitted right as it is over to one side. The mirrors are very bad to see out of and it needs 6 gears; you need to drive like a Sunday driver to get good mpg. Don’t get one!

Isuzu N35 Grafter Tipper 2007

Overall these are good trucks. I’ve had Isuzu trucks up to 7.5 ton. I can’t fault them other than they do drink a bit of oil for some reason, and the 7.5 ton ’’easyshift’’ sometimes develops a mind of its own when setting off.

Isuzu NPR 1999

I bought a 1999 Isuzu NPR truck and it has been the worst thing I could have ever done. Motor has blown. Transmission has never been right. The Turbo has blown 3 times over the years. The gears that run the fuel pump have never lasted over a year and a half. It cost about $3000.00 to repair that alone. I have had 3 mechanics try to get information from Isuzu as to why all these problems are repeating and Isuzu has hung up on all three of them over the years. I would not have another Isuzu if it was given to me. I could have bought 3 other trucks NEW for what this one has cost to keep going. I won’t even get into the plastic radiator and problems there! This is a total LEMON, and I have talked to other Isuzu owners with the SAME COMPLAINTS.

Isuzu Trooper 2000

I bought this 2000 Trooper Insignia in August 2009 with 43000 miles on the clock, to get my son to school over some very rough and unsalted roads. This 4x4 handles like a dream starts on the button and I am extremley pleased with the servicing costs compared to other 4x4’s I have had in the past. I am confident I will get at least another 43000 miles but don’t know what will replace it!

Isuzu N35 Grafter Tipper 2009

Absolutely fantastic!! I just bought an 09 twin wheel tipper one of these trucks and they are great!! it may be one of the smaller trucks out there along with the toyota dyna , but it will hold just as much as any new transit or cabstar, tips a lot of weight easy aswell, only fault I find with it is the cab space, I had to buy a wide cab version and still a little small but other than that it’s perfect!! Tips 2 tons easy. Well done Isuzu you’ve made a cracker this time!!

Isuzu Trooper Citation 2002

This is a great car. I am now on my 3rd trooper, I’ve had the MK1 and then a 95 3.1 Trooper, then this 02 model. It’s a shame they have stopped making them, what do I go for next? I haven’t a clue. The only one problem I had with this car is that the pipes on top of the fuel tank holed and let air into the fuel system which made it not start very well, then not start at all. But once a new tank was in, it was spot on. If you are looking at buying a 3-litre ring your local Isuzu dealer to see if its had all its recalls as they do have a problem with the injectors which I got done for free, well done Isuzu. If they still made them I would be getting my 4th.

Isuzu Rodeo 3 ltr double cab 4x4 2008

NZ new (label is Holden Rodeo). Incredibly economical in mountains or motorway. Replaced 2000 Ford Ranger w/200,000 overloaded km requiring only 2 glowplug. Rodeo superior in cab room, chassis strength, and engine power/torque. Ford better in engine/trans/clutch smoothness, dash legibility (half of Rodeo dash seems hidden by s/wheel boss). Rodeo overall is excellent bar access for engine/service. Other than doubts about clutch durability vs. Ford, Rodeo seems incredibly robust and should see me out.

Isuzu Rodeo 3.0TD DC Denver

Well equipped pick up with good 4x4 capabilities. Works hard whether loaded or towing and looks great. Classed as commercial so you can reclaim the VAT (always nice). Good solid truck.

Isuzu Trooper 3.0 DT SWB 3dr

This has been a real workhorse of a car. Totally reliable and effortless to drive compared to some other 4x4’s out there. Will be very sorry to let it go when the time comes.
