The A4 allroad’s single-frame grille sports a modified look, with chrome strips adorning the vertical bars. While flat intake slits beneath the radiator grille channel greater quantities of air to the engine. Thanks to Vorsprung durch Technik, making the choice between petrol and diesel engines isn’t as straightforward as it used to be. Engines of both fuel types offer improved power, lower emissions, sporty performance and increased efficiency. Do you prefer the high-torque pulling power of a diesel or the increased response of a petrol engine? The choice is yours. As well as allowing sportier driving on the road, the new generation of the ESP (version 8.1) in the Audi A4 allroad features a special off-road mode. This reprograms the ESP system, the traction control and anti-lock braking system so they adapt them to the specific driving conditions encountered in offroad terrain, such as snow, sand, gravel or mud.
