I have to keep topping up my Volkswagen Transporter kombi`s coolant tank about every 2 to 3 weeks, with no signs of any leaks. I have just had an MOT and service again with no signs of leakage. The oil filler cap has a little sign of oil which looks creamy. Any ideas?

I was driving my Transporter kombi when all of a sudden the vehicle just cut out and since then the glow plug light has come on and the vehicle does not want to start. I had taken it to a auto electrician and they tell me according to their diagnostic tool it is a problem on the injectors and it is a common rail and they can not fix it. It sounds as if it is fuel starvation. Sometimes you get it started but as soon as you rev it, it just cuts out out as if there are no fuel. Do any one know what this could be and how much it would cost. I thank you in advanced for your assistance.

Good day. I have a Volkswagen Transporter kombi, can someone please tell me why the fan for the passengers at the rear doesn’t work anymore? I used it up until a day ago. The light on the button is lit but no air flowing. I checked all the fuses and found that none is broken. I even checked the fan at the rear but can’t see anything wrong.

We go on the free way and as soon as we get to the up hill the kombi loses power. The turbo has been fixed but still the same problem. I went to Volkswagen to plug into their computer they said it was a sensor, fitted the sensor but still the same problem. We don’t know anymore and Volkswagen agents also don’t know what to do!!! No air leaks on pipes or vacuum hoses... Does anyone else have any idea what else it could be???

Can anyone tell me where the aircon filter is situated on a 2007 Volkswagen Transporter? It definitely needs to be cleaned or changed as there is poor air flow on high. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello, I have recently bought a second hand VW T4 poptop. Until recently when I changed gear lots of black smoke came out of exhaust, now there is no smoke but a funny smell (like eggs/ fish). Obviously there is a problem, does anyone know what and how much it is likely to cost? Thank you in advance (GiGi)

Does anyone know if the middle and rear seats fold back like a bed if you remove the headrests and slide the middle seats forward like with the Toyota Spacias?

I can clearly see the fuel pump on front bottom center of engine but can not find the 10 pin connector for it, whereabouts is it? I think it’s a vp 37 pump, is there any other type used on this model. Thanks. (2.5 tdi t4 acv type)

I have just purchased a T32 180Ps Kombi with 5200 miles. I just had the gearbox replaced and front nearside wheel bearing terrible droning noise when turning left or right from the near side front so bad, you can hear it over the radio. VW tell me it is tyre noise, has anyone else had this problem? Just to let people know, VW tried to rebuild the old gear box, unsuccessfully, after only 5,200 miles.

Hi, I own a 2.5 Tdi T4 Caravelle VW Combi and would like to know what the humming sound is that is going on while I am driving. It seems to be coming from below the front part of the combi, even if I press the clutch and the car is running free it still does this. It has been doing it for a long time, regardless if clutch is in or out or the vehicle is running free. Could it be the tyres or is it coming from the diff? Thank you for your advise. Regards Boris. (Tdi 2.5 Caravelle)

I have had some starting problems with my van. I have checked all the connections and I think it may be the earth strap. Where is the earth strap from the engine to the body? Any help or advice would be gratefully appreciated.
