The pressure builds up in my radiator & goes into the over-flow tank, but does not return to the radiator - which needs to be re-filled every day. I have put on 3 new radiators caps, taken it to 4 mechanics, who could not identify the problem - hence, nor fix it!! They pressure tested it (it was OK), none could find any leaks, tested for oil (OK), checked oil (OK), heater & flushed it. It does not overheat. Still, it does not suck the water back into the radiator. Any ideas would be most appreciated. Thanks, Rob

Hey guys, my Toyota Hiace 10 seater has a problem with the reverse switch. The reverse noise and reverse lights come on in all gear positions (p,r,n,d,2,l), noise stops when I turn the key off/on again in park, then gear change starts the noise again. I think the rear position sensor /multi switch was recently changed. Is there another relay for the reverse switch?

I removed the shift selector cover to renew the oil seals. I noted prior to removing that the vertical lever (top lever) pointed toward the bottom lever. When I re-installed the assembly, it now appears that the top lever is pointing away from the bottom one? Looking into the box there are three horizontal "rails", each having a slot to accommodate the shift lever selector arm. The top two rails line up two slots, whereby the bottom rail is offset to the right. Should the top lever be engaged into the offset slot on assembly? (by depressing same on assembly), this would then position the top lever to where I thought it should be? It all married up on first attempt, however on testing the column shift it appeared jammed?

The door for my fuel cap won't clip in to place and stay shut. I bought it as it is so I'm not sure how the mechanism is supposed to work, It looks like the metal clip is supposed to hook behind the nut which is on the right hand wall of the fuel cap cavity. At the moment the clip is just bouncing back off the nut so the door swings open. Does anyone have any suggestions for how to fix it? Thanks, Ed.

My vehicle engine over heats when at a speed of 90km/h and above. Always water levels are low. Radiator cup is ok,radiator fine, gasket fine.c-head ok,fan ok, and water pump fine. what could be the problem?

Answers

the booster and brake master are ok. You should bleed your brakes using the nipples on your front wheel. kalipi laibu from Zimbabwe

it can be also cause by the weak furn. most of the furns are ran by a thick liquid in the furn. Once that liquid is very weak it will not blow out the heat and cool the radiator. You need to lock the furn so that the furn run the same speed as the engine Ble from Zimbabwe

I bought a Toyota regius wagon 1999 model diesel from japan 2 months ago. the problem is on its suspension, when I travel at a speed of 100km and above, the vehicle became unstable, it produces a sound from the right wheel which act like the nuts are not locked but all are locked at the same time the sterling wheel will be shivering too much. today 25.11.14 I had put it on a pit, whilst under the vehicle I noticed that their is a rode coming from the sterling pump which control the right wheel and it had a freeplay or is so loose giving the wheel to move slightly without moving the sterling. I looked for the sterling adjuster but I failed to locate it. is there anyone who can know where is it or how can this problem rectified help please. Jonathan
