I bought a 2006 Suzuki Swift and I cannot find where the steering oil is. I purchased it in an auction, it had low mileage of 26,000 km. Can anyone help?
Answers
No oil for power steering. It is electronically controlled. Most small/new cars have this option - Cooljazz from Australia

I have no power to the radio in my 2007 Suzuki Swift. Does anyone know what is the problem?
Answers
I had this problem a few months ago, I had left the cigarette lighter out the socket and a coin had gone in and fused it. The radio has two fuses under the dashboard drivers side one in the middle of the bottom row and an accessory one in the top row mine had blown the accessory fuse - Michael Searson from Derbyshire

What side are the indicator controls on the new 2011 Swift? I am a driving instructor looking to replace my car, and am interested in the Swift. But I want a car with the control on the left of the steering wheel as previous in my Honda so not to confuse pupils. I heard rumours it is on the right. Please can you help?

I replaced the clutch on my 1.5 diesel and flywheel, everything is okay apart from the reverse gear which is very hard to select and sometimes won’t even go in. I can’t see any way to adjust the linkage as its cable and also dont understand why this has happened as all was okay before I did the clutch. Any ideas?

This car has been to two Suzuki garages three times as it stalls in reverse and they can’t find a problem. Third gear is dreadful, it catches as I go up the gears but it’s fine going down. Has anyone got any ideas? It isn’t a year old yet.

Subject: The all new Suzuki Swift... 4x4 model. Just don’t drive it in Winter because we haven’t got any tyres to fit... Following some excellent reviews on, and after the Paris launch, we ordered a new super hatch for my wife. We live in Piedmonte, Northern Italy. Where as you probably know we get a lots of snow. Hence our 4x4 purchase. Well I received a phone call the other day from our local garage to say ’It had arrived and they where doing their pre-delivery checks ready for our collection. With winter now just around the corner I requested they fit snow tyres, as this is a legal requirement in our Province. Their response has required me to lay down in a darkened room, for fear of a thrombosis! They said ’We cannot obtain winter tyres for this model’. The new model’s tyres are 185/55/R16 and are only available as a standard. So that’s wonderful - I’ve purchased a 4x4 car that’s great for the spring and the summer, but legally. if there is inclement weather in the winter, best leave it in the garage. This glib take it or leave it attitude had me dumbfounded at first, now I’m just plain angry. It brings into question the whole ’Customer Service Ethic’ . With regard to the latter I have just spent 3 hours on the internet trying to find a Suzuki Customer Service facility in Italy. It would appear every country on the globe has one, does it surprise me that Italy hasn’t... or are they just keeping a low profile. Am I correct in assuming that Suzuki are in Breach of Contract in failing to supply a vehicle with tyres that are not fit for purpose? Before closing I have just received another phone call from my garage. They now say they still cannot source any winter tyres to fit this new model... but they can source SMALLER WHEELS with SMALLER TYRES... Now is that SMALL MINDED or what... I’m just going to lie down again, I’m not feeling too well. Any help or advice you can give would be much appreciated... Yours sincerely David J Whitwam. (4x4)
