When I turn a righthand corner my Renault Kangoo Van seems to slip or slide for a second and I have to correct it with the steering. It feels like the rear nearside tyre is flat but I have had a new tyre fitted and it is still the same. The van sits level on the road. Could it be the shocks?

The fan on my Renault Kangoo van is not very powerful. On the first few settings you can hardly feel anything coming out of the vents, and on full it seems very weak. To actually get cool I have to close all but one vent to feel a good blast of air flow. Also there is a strange smell when I use the air conditioning i.e a musty smell. The air-conditioning gas is not leaking but it needs replacing. Can anyone help me with this problem and does anyone know why it smells? Thanks.

Hi. I have a Renault Kangoo van, 655d, year 2000. I have a problem in starting my van in the mornings, once started it would be fine all day. I just bought a new battery, glow plugs, and have just tested the battery for voltage and tested the alternator - they are all working fine, the voltage is what it should be. When I turn the ignition on first thing I do it twice so the plugs are having a good warm up before I crank it up. When I turn the key it really struggles to start. So can anyone give me some idea what could be causing this I have also checked earth leads plus battery terminals. Many thanks.

Hi, I have a Renault Kangoo 665d van x reg 80,000 miles. The other morning it fired up but cut out after ten seconds or so I managed to get it started again but cut out again since then it won’t start. Battery, immobiliser and glow plugs are fine there is fuel in it and I can see fuel in the clear pipes going in to the engine. The pump clicks when ignition is turned on and the cut out switch is pushed in what could this be? Kind regards, Adam.

I have a Kangoo 1.9d on a 2000 plate. The gear linkage fell out of the little plastic clip on the bottom of the gearbox which enables you to select what gear you want. Can anyone tell me where to buy these clips? Motor Factors want to charge me £70 for the privilege of buying a new gear linkage and they don’t sell the clip on its own.

Check the fuses dude, it’s that simple. I’d check for hidden fuse compartment as well, they usually burn out if overworked and can cause massive problems even if it is only a 50p fuse - j3ff m63voy from Staffordshire
