My Peugeot Partner Combi`s heater blower motor has suddenly started to run at full speed only. I have tried replacing the speed controller unit and it runs fine for a while, before blowing the speed controller again. Any ideas?

My Peugeot Partner Combi has stopped running as if it has been turned off. I had the fuel pump checked and the pump is fine but the diesel is not getting to the injectors. I also fitted a new rail injection switch, but this hasn`t worked. Can anyone help? (Combi 1.6 hdi)

I’ve been told that antifreeze is leaking onto the heating matrix and wondered if anyone knows how much this would cost to repair? Also, I don’t know if it’s part of the same problem, but the blowers are full on and cannot be turned off. Any idea how to fix this please?

Hi, my Combi Partner, when the cold or hot air blower is in operation, sometimes you can smell exhaust fumes... not all the time but now and again. The exhaust sytem seems in good order and is not blowing. Is there a remedy to find and cure this problem? Hope you can help!
Answers
Hi. My Dispatch van was called back because of a fault in the heat exchanger which if not treated would have let exhaust fumes into the cab - which in turn would have sent me to sleep and most likely been the cause of me killing myself and anyone that got in my way. Sounds to me like you may have a similar problem so please be careful and have it checked out - Mike from Ireland

When the blower system on my Peugeot Partner Combi is supplying cold or warm air into the vehicle there is sometimes a smell of exhaust fumes. Is there an easy and cheap remedy to cure this or do I go to the expense and change vehicles?

I went to get in my Peugeot Partner Combi 2-litre HDI recenly after it not being driven for a couple of weeks. The central locking is not unlocking doors so I had to get in manually. The car started OK but doors still the same from the c/lock dash button. Did a BSI reset as per manufacturers instructions. Still not working correctly, the back sliding doors will lock from the button, the drivers internal push down button on the door or the key fob. The front doors will not and neither will the rear hatch. Once locked you cannot unlock back doors except by doing it manually from the inside. All other BSI functions working correctly. When locking or unlocking with the fob the lights behave normally. Do you think this is a BSI problem and if so any idea on the costs of them? Thanks.

I’ve a split pipe going to the radiator on my Peugeot Partner Combi but don’t know what to call it when I order it. It’s the pipe that is under the engine that goes from rubber to hard plastic. What do I ask for when ordering on the phone? Thanks.

Can anybody tell me if they are getting problems with their temperature gauge? The stop light comes on and the temperature gauge goes up to the red, sometimes the car has not been running long enough for the engine to warm up. It then goes back down to the normal temperature after about 10-20 seconds. The water level is fine, it is giving me a headache.
Answers
The problem should be the temperature switch, not the one located at the radiator but one at the engine. Mine had a similar problem but once I replaced the switch, the problem disappeared - Geoffrey Kenya from Kenya
