Hi. My Peugeot 107 makes bleeping sounds when I accelerate and I could smell a very extreme nasty smoke smell a few days ago. Is there any explanation regarding that?

I just bought a pre-owned 2 tronic Peugeot 107. My problem is it rolls back slightly, even when I am moving off from the slightest slope. It makes me panic and now I am scared of driving it in case I encounter a steep slope and it rolls backward and hits the car behind me. Does anyone have a similar problem and do you know what causes this?

My Peugeot 107 has started making a rattling noise from the front. I noticed this at low speed before parking or setting off. Then second gear was not as smooth as usual. I`ve just arrived home and the noise became louder and now I can’t get it to reverse at all - why?
Did you find out exactly what the problem was yet? Similar problem with my own 107 Superraffo2@gmail.com. Karl Flynn from Cardiff

Sometimes for no apparent reason the yellow warning light comes on and my Peugeot 107 loses power - it won’t do more than 2,000 rpm. My garage said it was an injector problem and changed one injector, but the problem still happens. Sometimes turning the engine off and restarting means the engine will go okay (although a bit down on power) but the yellow light stays on. The car is 2008 diesel. Has anyone got any ideas? (Diesel)

I bought my Peugeot 107 from John Harrison Lowdham in July and paid hundreds of pounds for extra warranty. First my brakes stuck on, which they were supposed to have done before they sold it to me and I was told the warranty does not cover that. I got the RAC out who told me the wheel nuts had never been off. When I told the garage I was told the damp had made the brake drums stick. Now I have a lunging and it feels like it’s going to stop, even just driving at 50 mph on the straight. I don’t have faith in the garage. What can it be, any ideas please?

I have a Peugeot 107 with an intermittent fault - the PS light comes on on the dash and the steering goes heavy. The PS pump was replaced with a second hand unit which solved the problem for a few weeks. The light has now started to come back on intermittently. I suspect that the ECU is causing the problem. Has anyone replaced an ECU without involving a garage/mechanic? I know where the ECU is located just not sure on how to fix it?

The water under the radiator cap keeps draining away and is low. I have just had a new radiator fitted and when I top it up it is rusty in colour and not pink. The coolant indicator is showing that the coolant is ok and the colour is pink. I have also has a new water pump as well but am wondering is this normal for the water level under the radiator cap to still be low?

My horn isn’t working on my Peugeot 107. How do I check the fuse or is there any other reason why it might not be working? Also what is the standard wheel size for a Peugeot 107? Thanks.

I have recently purchased an 06 Peugeot 107 and the radio and 12v socket have stopped working. I am guessing it’s the fuse but I am unable to find the fuse box on the inside of the car. I have found one under the bonnet but those are all fine and I saw some posts saying there was one inside on the steering wheel, but I have so far been unable to find one at all. Could anyone help please, maybe with a picture? (lite)
There is one located once you take off all of the panels surrounding the steering wheel, I believe it is a blue one. It should be easy-ish to tell which one. Anonymous from Middlesex

Hi, I’ve just bought a second hand 2010 Peugeot 107 from a Ford dealer just outside Birmingham. I’ve just checked in the boot and it does not have a spare wheel, Jack or wheel brace. Should the car come with these items as standard or were they an extra?
It’s in the trunk, take the cover off and you will see it. Chris from Oxfordshire

Hi, I`m having fuel problems with my Peugeot 107 so I filled up and zero’d the speedo. I am only getting 41 mpg, what is going on? According to spec it should be more like 55+ I have only had the car since June 2012 so I`m not savvy with it yet, but does anyone have any ideas why my car is so juicy? I don’t drive like an idiot and almost always drive in fourth or fifth gear if I can get away with it. My last car was a 1.2 sport and that used less petrol than this one. Any suggestions please? Thanks. (Sport XS)

Hi, my friend renewed the battery on his Peugeot 107 but connected it the wrong way. Now it has no brake lights, demisters, wipers etc. All fuses are okay and I think it`s either the bis unit or speedo unit at fault? Can you get the BIS unit re-programmed? Any help would be appreciated.

The airflow direction selector on my Peugeot 107 has stopped working, it turns but the airflow direction stays on the screen, good for demisting, bad for warming feet. It jammed once and I turned it hard and it suddenly turned freely - but I soon discovered it no longer changed the direction! Is it broken, or has something become disconnected? Thanks for any help. I’m looking for a used Peugeot 1007 and have found two I’m torn between! One is an 06 plate 1.4 Manual, 37k on the clock and £2,500, the other is a 56 plate 1.6 semi auto with 18k on the clock for £2,300. Both have long MOTs and tax. I’m not sold on the semi auto gearbox so would welcome any views on that (good or bad) and am not a speed merchant (would rather get more miles per gallon), so wondered if anyone can comment on the MPG for each model? Thanks.

The Emission control system warning light has come on in my Peugeot 107. I can’t get a straight answer from the local Peugeot dealer as to what are the possible prognoses. Has anybody got any suggestions please? (998cc petrol)
Could be one of a number of things, only having a mechanic investigate the problem will give you an answer. The joy off modern cars Keith from Scotland
Hi Steve. I seem to be having the same problem!! I’m hoping you’ve got to the bottom of it because I sure haven’t. I’ve only had my car a month and the day I bought it the light came on. Since then the garage I bought it from have replaced the cat convertor and the sensor and still the light is on. Please tell me you have yours fixed am I’m tearing my hair out!!! My Peugeot 107 has got water coming in from somewhere, I have no idea from where but the back seat is soaking wet. How do you get the seats out of the car and does anyone have any idea of where the water can be coming from? Thanks.
This appears - from other forums - to be a problem with the rear light cluster foam seals degrading over a couple of years. If you look under the luggage compartment carpet you may very well discover your spare wheel in its own puddle. Replacement of the foam seals cures the ingress of water. Consult with your local dealership for advice on the seat removal Peter Flatt from Gloucestershire
My car (107 2007.mod.) did leak water from the door at the backside of the car (the door to the room for baggage). It was difficult for the garage to find it, but they managed at last Lene Simonsen from Norway
If you have the 5 door model, it will be the rear passenger door seals. If the leak is in the boot will either be the rear light seals or the brake light seal Tony Robbins from Durham

I have not used my Peugeot 107 for the past 10-14 days, now it will not start, absolutely nothing. It will not turn over at all-not a sound coming from it. It`s always left outside and I`ve had the car from new with only 9,000 on the clock. My husband tried putting leads from his Volvo to my Peugeot but nothing. What shall I do?
Mine too! I will buy a new battery, I did try to charge the battery, but it didn’t start after anyway Lene Simonsen from Norway

I`m having trouble filling my Peugeot 107 with fuel. It`s taking too long from the nozzle on the pump and keeps stopping, even when I`m pulling it out a bit. Any ideas why?
I had this problem too, turns out you have to fill the tank with the petrol nozzle sideways on rather than putting it into car as you hold it Helena from Oxfordshire
Hi, there is an air tube at the top of the tank, to let the petrol enter freely, this tube apparently is blocked, you can find one end of this tube connected to the neck of the tank, take it off and blow some air into it and try Chucri Kayal from France

My Peugeot 107 has a temperature bulb coming up after a warning of STOP flashing on the display in red. What is the problem?
The engine is too hot, the sensor is away or the radiator fan is not kicking in when it is too hot. Have you heard the fan going? Have you checked the radiator water and oil levels? Is there any wet patches under your car? Keith from Scotland

How do I remove the carpet behind the passenger seat on my Peugeot 107? It seems to be very tight fitting and there is water coming in from somewhere, so I need to get the carpet dried as the inside of the car keeps getting iced up. Can anyone help?
I have same problem. I have been told to remove back light and put some sealant on both sides of seal and replace light fitting. Do this on both lights. Clear bathroom sealant would be better. I am even putting some on the boot seal. Hope this works, so do I Dave Shaw from England

My Peugeot 107`s indicator on right hand side doesn’t work unless I hold the stick in position. It works fine for the left indicator. Is this likely to be a problem with the electrics? Many thanks.
