My Nissan Primera`s Abs light comes on occasionally, referring me to have it checked and now the air conditioning comes on on its own. Any ideas please?

Hi. There is a red car symbol with a key warning light flashing on the dashboard of my Nissan Primera. It continues to flash when the key is taken out of the car and the car is locked. What does this light mean as there is nothing in the manual about it?

When I put on the right turn indicator of my Nissan Primera the seat belt bleeper sounds instead of the usual ticking sound. All of the rear light earths have been cleaned and replaced. Does anyone have any ideas?(SE)

My 2002 2.2 turbo diesel Nissan Primera cuts out in low revs and the engine light appears . If I turn it off and on it`s okay again. I recently replaced the air flow metre/turbo. It basically doesn’t drive comfortably in low revs (starts juttering and spitting power). The MPG counter is also all over the place, sometimes getting up to 44MPG and then jumping down to 28MPG. That`s a bit severe I think, no matter whether it is urban or rural driving. I really need a fix for the loss of revs with the engine light popping on. I literally have to stop and start 20 times a day and being a salesman on the road constantly this doesn’t help the stress levels. Any suggestions? (2.2 turbo diesel Dci.)

Check the altenator and battery! I had the same problem on my Primera and it turned out the altenator wasn’t producing enough power to charge the battery! Gavin from Norfolk

When I went to replace the bulb in the passenger side rear fog light of my Nissan Primera I found that the fog light bulb area has been capped off. Is there any reason for this, or has the inside cover not been removed on a new fitting? (Hatchback)

I have no reverse lights on my Nissan Primera. I was wondering if someone could please tell me where the reverse light switch is on the gearbox as I can see one on top and one to the rear of the box as well? Thanks in advance.

I can’t get my Nissan Primera`s boot to open with the key or with the release lock button on the driver`s door. There is also a continual audible alarm when I turn the key in the ignition and when driving. Can anyone advise please?

I have just bought a 55 plate Primera S. There is a telephone icon on the steering wheel controls and main console. When I press either button nothing happens and when I turn my Bluetooth on there is no connection. I have an iphone 4. How do I connect my phone to the car?

I think the button is there but it is an optional extra, you have to get Nissan to fit it. I don’t know the cost, but I’d say it’d be a few quid. Be better getting a bluetooth kit or ear piece I think - Keith from County Tyrone

Hi! I really need help with this one. The door alarm signal is constantly on in car because the car doesn’t register that the trunk is closed for some reason. Is there an easy way I can turn off the alarm without taking out the fuse and losing all other lights on dashboard etc...??? (p12)

My Nissan Primera’s boot lock is not responding every time to the central locking system or the door mounted switch. Is this a fuse issue? Also, the passenger window is not working from either switch - what would that be? Appreciate any help.

I have an oil leak coming from the drive shaft - all on my driveway. The Nissan garage said it was sweating from the drive shaft and not to worry about it as it not a danger but I don’t want it leaking on my drive. Please help with some great advice.

I want to replace the factory fitted radio in my Nissan Primera 1.8 activ hatchback with a cd player, as part of the surround and fascia is the hazard warning light which causes me a problem, can you help?

Your question isn’t clear. If you’re asking how to get round the hazard warning light you need to buy a different fitting plate from the main dealer or see if anyone is selling one on eBay - Mohammed Asaf from England

Hi. On my Nissan Primera 2003, the reversing camera comes on when I brake. Also, indicator is on the power is reduced and all of the rear left hand side lights flash, including the indicator, brake and head lights. We have checked the bulbs and all are OK. Can anyone help please?

Definitely an earth problem. When I put the right indicator on, my rear fog light flashed and the car lost power, like it was missing. Sorted now with a good clean up of all connections and terminals - Keith from County Tyrone

I have a Nissan Primera 1.8-litre petrol 03 plate and it has a problem with the fog light when I but my foot on the brake. The fog light comes on the dashboard and when I but my indicators on as well. And sometimes, when I get to a certain speed, it wants to cut out. Any help please?
