Nissan Pathfinder 2010

Hi. I have a 2010 Nissan Pathfinder SE Type 2. Normally when a door is open the door open indicator used to illuminate. However, a couple of days ago, while this was illuminated on the main screen I could see the diagram of the vehicle indicating the exact door that was open. I was surprised and would have thought that I was dreaming but I had two friends with me and for sure know that I wasn’t. But now again I don’t see that. Can anyone please advise? (SE Type 2)

Hi. I just bought a Nissan Pathfinder and the front driver`s seat either lies flat or goes forward to the steering wheel which ran the battery flat! I have fitted a new battery and also figured out that the reclining switch knob does not centralise after use, therefore the motor is still running. Where can I get hold of these parts or do I have to go to a Nissan dealer? Thanks for any ideas. (Aventura).

I have just bought a used 2005 Nissan Pathfinder but when the car is in motion, it has a problem of selecting gears and the movement of the car (SUV) is really slow. What will be the problem and how do I fix it? Thanks and God bless. (automatic 4x4)

How do you get into a Nissan Pathfinder if the vehicle battery goes flat? As there are no keyholes on the doors?

Answers

I would say, like in all Nissans, there is a key lock within the passenger handle, front left, remove the cover - Keith from County Tyrone

I’ve been experiencing a rough idle on my Nissan Pathfinder when cold for some time. The revs will frequently dip so low that it stalls. It may also, whilst still cold, stall when putting into gear or under load (reversing etc). Once warm it’s fine. I’ve so far taken off the air flow meter, cleaned with contact cleaner and replaced, it seemed to make a slight improvement but it’s still lumpy on cold start. What else should I try before subjecting myself to the horror of a Nissan garage? Thanks.

When I am driving my Nissan Pathfinder everything seems OK. But when I am stopping at the intersection, a few seconds later I am feeling as if something has knocked me behind. When I am taking my foot on the break pedal and the car is going little forward and when I applying the break again I am feeling the same again. It seems to be a gear..? Any ideas anyone?

I have a squeak on my Nissan Pathfinder. I have taken it back to the garage many times and they keep putting grease on the bonnet rubbers, but to no avail. Any ideas anyone?

Answers

I had the same thing with my Navara. If you unwind the rubber stops at the front of the bonnet, it will take up the slack on the bonnet catch and that solved my problem - Mark Cottingham from Sussex

NOT a Pathfinder. 3 way switch on handbrake binnacle is marked ’power - AT - snow’. Doesn’t seem to make any difference on or off, but is wired up. What does it do? Thanks. (prairie joy)
