How can I get into my car when the battery is dead and central locking is on without any damage being done? Thanks.
Answers
Hi there, the obvious answer is to use your key, but I’m assuming that’s not an option, so your next best bet is to jack up the car, get another car and some jumper leads, connect the red cable to the part of your starter motor that comes in from the battery, the black to the chasis, leave it for a little. This should get you enough power to use your key fob - George M from Australia

My v6 is suddenly unable to pull 10 months down the line. It feels like the automatic gear box struggles to get into 3/4 gear onwards. Please tell me I don’t need a new gearbox...

Hard to start on my 2.0 ltr diesel Freelander. I push the accelerator, it revs up and then, like a turbo, increases with speed? Does anybody else know what may be happening?

I have a Freelander, year 2000. It can start most mornings on first turn of key, then all of a sudden it won’t start (mainly on frosty mornings). It seems to be a fuel problem. It seem to be using too much fuel. I would appreciate any feedback anyone has on solving this problem.
