Hyundai Accent 2006

I have purchased a second hand Hyundai Assent CRDi. We had it checked over but after three months, there is lot of engine sound. We took it to the mechanic who told us that the crankshaft bearing has gone. I want to know how do we identify the crankshaft bearing wear out? Is there any process? My car has run 8,000 km only. Please help.

Hyundai Accent 2007

The cam belt of my car has worn out prematurely and this led to valves being burnt down. Now I want to know if this problem is covered under five year warranty? At present my car is at Hyundai Rustenburg Water Fall Mall. I do not have another car, can Hyundai please help me with a courtesy car?
