The right side indicators are working, and the hazard lights are working on both sides. But the left side indicators are not working at all, although you can hear the flasher unit clicking. I replaced the flasher unit and it works for a little while and then stop. Any answers, thanks.

Sounds like an air blockage in the system, you need to drain it, and then refill it, gently tap different areas of the cooling system to dislodge the air bubble - Ken from London

Hi, does your engine reach normal temperature? Try changing the thermostat, and then when topping the coolant up, make sure there are no airlocks in the system - Matthew Johnson from England

Also make sure the pollen filter isn’t blocked preventing airflow - Martin Jones from Essex

Thanks guys, will try all of what you mentioned - Wendy Hedges from Essex

There was a sudden engine tapping noise on my Ford Transit Minibus. I drove for 5 kms then checked oil and water next morning and both were dry. Refilled and the noise has gone and its running fine. Would the problem be rectified or could it be doing more damage? We plan to take a 5000km holiday in a couple of weeks... (2-litre diesel)

My Ford Transit Minibus is hard to start in the morning and when driving, it takes its time to pick up speed but when you go up hills, the power dies down. What can be wrong please?

Answers

A compression test of the cylinders is the first port of call. Ask a mate if they have a kit, they are cheap enough from the likes of Halfords, cheaper than getting someone in. Change the fuel filter then put injector cleaner into the fuel tank. Sounds like your fuel filter and goo in the fuel tank, that’s all. Don’t worry, give her an oil and air filter change, job done. Kind regards - Pauly Milburn from Yorkshire
