The ice warning light is going on and off all the time. Where is the sensor located? Will I need to change it? (Titanium 1.8 diesel)

I have got a Ford Focus 1.6 style 57 plate. My wipers have stopped working. I have checked the wiper motor, fuses and changed the wiper stalk but it is still not working. I can’t find the wiper relay to see if that can be the problem. My rear wiper is still working fine. Hopefully someone can help me? Thanks.

I have just taken my car to have its timing belt changed and have been told by the mechanic at Ford Lookers that in fact it has a belt AND chain timing system that is normally only fitted to Galaxy’s. Is this correct? As obviously it’s going cost a lot more? (1.8 LX Diesel)
Answers
Yes, the chain drives injector pump from crankshaft which is internal. You only need to change belt and tensioner £130-£180 max. cost - Martin Jones from Essex

The water bottle is bubbling like crazy, boiling very loudly on my petrol Ford Focus. The temperature gauge never goes past half way, we hooked fan up to ignition as it wasn’t kicking in, but the water bottle is still boiling! Any ideas?
Answers
Possible faulty thermostat, test it in a kettle to see if it opens, otherwise I have seen the impellor break off the water pump shaft. To check that you will have to remove pump, also worth checking is the expansion bottle cap - Martin Jones from Essex

Just replaced the battery and now I get a knocking sound when the car moves. It doesn’t happen when the car is stationery. The new battery works fine. Any suggestions?
