I am finding oil in my expansion tank. Oil pressure is normal and there is no effect in engine performance. I have had the oil cooler behind the sump changed - and now being told it might be the head gasket. It has only done 56,000 miles and never overheated or been thrashed. Because this is a Volvo engine there is little documentation on it - could it be the interface between the turbo oil and water?

What is the best way to fix minor scratches to the plastic trim? A recent little scuff on a badly kerbed car park have left small but annoying scratches showing white through the dark metallic grey paint - not significant but in need of attention on underside of front skirt. Any advice as to remedial work? (st2)

Answers

Try covering scratches with clear laquer using a very small brush, this worked on my black Focus - Martin Jones from Essex
