My Ford Fiesta Van drives quite well but then there is a loss of power and black smoke, as if there is some sort of blockage and it wants clearing. Any ideas, could it be an injector fault?

My Ford Fiesta Van cut out while driving, going over flyover while low on diesel. After changing diesel filter it will not start. I’ve tried putting it on syphon feed and towing it but nothing happens, it turns over but doesn’t fire. Does it have an engine cut off switch anywhere? It’s a Ford Courier 2-seater van.

When I turn the ignition on the display flashes on then immediately off until the engine has started, or until after 10 or so seconds of the key being turned to on. Is this normal on a Ford Fiesta Van?

Ford Fiesta Van 1996

The heater in my Ford Fiesta Van is blowing cold air. I have checked the pipes that run through the bulkhead and they are warm, any ideas?

Probably the electric valve has packed up, common fault, which is located just behind bulkhead under bonnet may have a rubber cover over it, hoses go to this first - Martin Jones from Essex

Do you mean heater plugs and warning light? If so check the fuse first and then heater plug relay/timer - Martin Jones from Essex
