Fiat Stilo Multiwagon 2004

My local dealer has discovered two oil leaks; one from the gearbox and the other from the cam cover gasket. They have quoted £900 to replace the gearbox seal and £800 for replacing both cam belt and cam cover gasket. Does anyone know how long these jobs should take and how much I should pay for the parts? (Standard labour rate being £89 per hour)

Fiat Stilo Multiwagon 2004

Can anyone help me? The reversing lights audible beep (when reverse selected} and parking sensors have stopped working. I have checked the bulbs, they are fine and fitted a genuine FIAT switch onto the gearbox but they still will not work. Can anyone tell me if there is a fuse or a relay that could be causing the problem. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (JTD DYNAMIC)

I had same problem with my ’02 reg Stilo. I found out by chance that behind rear bumper, there is a multi-plug I had one broken wire select reverse, it still buzzes constantly. Hope this helps - Sharon from Ayrshire

Fiat Stilo Multiwagon 2004

Hi, I would like to replace my cloth trim with a leather one including door cards. The leather rear seats are of the sliding variety but my cloth trim ones are not although they are both 60/40. My question is, will it be possible for me to do this? The donor leather seats are coming out of a 5 door Fiat Stilo hatch. Many thanks in advance. William. (jtd)

Fiat Stilo Multiwagon 2004

2.0 JTD engine will not sart in really cold temperatures, or starts and then stops again after a second or two. Had the fuel filter changed and system bled last year, had it serviced and filter changed again last month, but it is doing it again this winter. Can anyone help?
