My Fiat Seicento will not start. All the lights on the dash come on and the key code light goes out so it’s not that. But there’s no spark at the plugs...

My Fiat Seicento ran out of fuel, and after I put in more, it does not start anymore. What could be the problem? The car is in Finland and it’s like -10degrees outside.

Hi, I have a problem with my Fiat Seicento 51 plate with the steering warning light on and the steering is hard. But when I switch the engine off and re-start it, then the warning light goes off. I’ve taken it to a few people for them to have a look and see for they said that I need a new steering column and a ECU. As I don’t want to start paying out for these thing when people are staying different things, would anyone help me out please?

Hi, the steering on my Fiat Seicento has gotten lighter and lighter over the last couple of months, to the point where it now feels as light as power steering (which it does not have) maybe even lighter... The car still seems usable bar the obvious problem, does anyone know what could be the issue? (Sporting)

Can you turn the steering wheel with one finger when the car is stood still? If you can then yes, you have power steering if not then no. Hope this helps :) - Paul Dand from Lincolnshire

My daughter has a Fiat Seicento which misfires badly when it rains. Water ingress is obviously the problem. Has anyone experienced this before and which component caused the misfire? Thanks. (Abarth)

The rear window wiper and heater are not working. I think it’s the fuse but not sure which fuse it is for the wiper. Can anyone help?

I have the same problem with the same year Seicento. I’ve checked all the normal fuses as also thought a fuse had gone but all are okay. Can anyone help? - Neil Henn from England

Hi, I have a problem with my daughters Fiat Seicento. There is a smell of burning, it makes a noise and the power steering and battery light comes on and then the steering goes stiff. Can anyone advise what this can be? Many thanks.

Water is appearing in the well hole on the drivers side, without any apparent entry point. It seems to happen when the car is parked during windy and wet weather - has anyone else experience this and is there anything I can do about it?

Hi, have you tried looking at the scuttle drains? It’s a long time since I worked at a Fiat dealership but remember Puntos had 2x tubes that got blocked with leaves and mud etc. If you open the bonnet, there should be something on the bulkhead, I’d check these first, does it have a sunroof?
