I`m not sure what type of engine oil to use in my Fiat Panda which is only 7 months old. Halfords told me and sold me 10/40. Is it the correct type?

Hi, I unthinkingly used my electric window on the driver’s side in the snowy weather and it made a big clunking sound, so I didn’t continue and it didn’t open. Now the window opens, but makes a really horrible noise when it starts to open and when it reaches the very top to close. I only use it when I absolutely have to. Does anyone have any idea what is wrong or how to fix it? I am quite handy and skint so would prefer to do it myself but want to be sure I don’t end up with no window if I just give it a go. Thanks!

The warning light on the dash board is staying on showing a door is open. But there is no door open. I assume the switch is faulty. Where is the switch?

My sister has a Fiat Panda and lately she has been having trouble with her clutch. When she wants to step on the clutch it gets stuck. She then has to pull it back up. We have checked the clutch fluid, and it is still 100=%. What could the problem be and what is the approximate cost of fixing whatever is wrong. (1100)

Today my daughter was really clumsy and managed to drop a key down the air vent near the windscreen, I was wondering if there was any way to get it back out as I’ve heard if I use the air conditioning and the key hits the motor it will ruin it. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Hi, I am hoping that somebody can help. I have a Fiat Panda. I woke up to a flat battery this morning having accidentally left the radio on. I sorted the battery out but now the oil light is staying on. I checked the oil and it was on the low side so I put some oil in. Took it for a run and the oil light has remained on. I have checked the oil again and it is fine. Is it safe to drive? What could be wrong with it? I would really appreciate it if somebody could provide advice. Thanks, Sarah.

My Fiat Panda still registers an instantaneous fuel consumption of 2-litres/100km while decelerating with my foot off the throttle. Is this normal? Should the ECU not cut the fuel supply completely until just above idle speed? (100 HP)

Hi all, just bought a 1.2 Panda with 39,000 miles on the clock, does the timing belt need replacing? What miles do Fiat recommend to change the timing belt? Thanks. (1.2 dynamic)
Answers
Every five years, whatever the mileage you do - Paul from Essex
Every 60,000 miles. I recommended you can reach up to 72k on the original one or every 5 years whichever comes first - Alex from Ireland
