My Fiat Bravo`s electric windows and mirrors and rear screen heater stopped working after someone tried to fit a stereo and blew the stereo, along with the electrics that I have mentioned. Can anyone help? (1.6 16v hlx)

Can you help me as to where to buy gear lever cables for my Fiat Bravo, as the gear lever is a bit stiff when changing gears? It`s a manual car and has five gears, righthand drive. Thank you. (td diesel 1900cc)

Last night my clutch started to make a screeching sound as I try to engage a gear. The clutch pedal will not fully go to the ground, once the car is in gear and at the right speed the clutch is fine. Do I need a whole new clutch or do I just need to re-adjust my clutch pedal? It is very tough, in fact impossible to engage while the hand brake is on? Any ideas, and prices please? Thanks.

There is no heat coming from the vents on my Fiat Bravo when the dial is on hot. Cold air comes out but no hot air. Suggestions please?

Answers

Not sure if this is a real help, but I was having problems with my heater, no warm air coming through. It turned out to be a siezed water pump which in turn melted the timing belt pulley which sheared off and caused expensive engine repair. Only 3.5 years old and 37,000 on the clock, so take to a garage and get it checked - Stephen THomas from Caerphilly

No drive power, told by breakdown person head gasket gone but not sure. No oil on engine or leak, discharge of water just like you would get from over flow pipe, fuel in chamber but no compression. Could it be a timing belt problem? Any ideas? (1.6)

I have a 1999 Fiat Fiat Bravo SX and the fog lights won’t switch off. The switch has the little light on constantly and it won’t go out when you press the button. Is this a new switch or relay or even a problem with the connection on the bulb? Please... I’m open to all suggestions. Thanks.

When I try to put fuel in the tank of my Fiat Bravo it rushes back out. There doesn’t seem to be a blockage. It took 20 minutes to put (dribble) £11 worth of fuel today, most of which went on the ground and my feet. Does the fuel pipe need to be replaced?
