You need to do a reset put drivers window down open bonnet take key out of ignition Disconnect battery for 3 mins connect battery back up wait another 3 mins turn side lights on wait 10 secs put key ignition and car will start will sound a bit lumpy after starting you need to take car for a run for 15 to 20 min running at 1500 rpm to start then about 2500 rpm so engine ecu can teach itself and should run fine them hope works out darren Darren from Lincolnshire

Citroen C5

Hi all, I have a 2004 Citroen C5 2.0L HDi for the last 8-10 months. During the summer AC on my Citroen would just stop working, sometimes during the fan speed change, or after I turn off my car and then start it up again. then all of a sudden after sometimes few turning off/on engine, or sometimes day or two it would start working again. I was sure it has something to do with the AC, but yesterday it did it again while I was switching from auto to defog, while AC did not work, but heating instead. When I turned Off my car and then started again, the fan icon on the dashboard showed a previous fan setting (somewhere on the half power), but fan did not work, and after few seconds that same icon showed fan not working. Please tell me that it is not hard to fix this, and that I can do it my self, of course if that is the case. Thanks in advance for any help and suggestion. Alex

Good Evening I wish to push through a wire (actually three wires bundled as one) through the firewall of my 2007 Citroen C5 2.2L HDI Turbo Hatchback so that day running LEDs can be installed to comply with new driving regulations in Australia. The vehicle is right hand drive position, same as the UK and nowhere can I locate any area, plug, existing wires that would feedback into the right hand side driver's position. Can anyone with experience with this particular model please show or explain to me where a hole can be drilled safely that I can push the wires through from the engine bay into the cab of the C5? I don't wish to proceed until I have professional advice as I use the vehicle daily and cannot have it sitting in the garage in pieces awaiting news as to where I can get the wires through the firewall. Thank you for your forum it is fantastic and full of information for French car enthusiasts. Maurice Gall

Hi. My car 2005, 1.6 HDi C5 estate broke down on the 21st of December. It was in a Citroen dealers until the second week in January when they said that they could not find anything wrong with in and charged me almost €500 to tell me that. They tell me they have checked everything including timing belt position, fuel delivery, and ECU. Can anyone direct me. The car turns over on the starter as it should and makes a slight attempt to start. To me it feels like a fuel problem but I am not in a position to confirm this. I would like to know where the fuel filter is anyway.
