BMW 7-Series 2007

1) Computer reads transmission fault 2) German Car Co (GMC) reset computer 3) Within 3 miles same problem 4) GMC advise need new battery fitted £250 5) Within 3 miles same problem advised need new alternator £450 6) Same problem refer to GMC who send to BMW £500 and advise need new gearbox they took 3 weeks cost would be £7000 7) I feel that if GMC had correctly fixed in first place I would not need a new gearbox 8) Should I sue in small claims court? (diesel)
