Audi A3 2008

I have just bought A3 TDI S-LINE 170 AUTO and my concern is when I accelerate from a standing start there is a slight delay, which is causing the car to jolt slightly. In other words it is not a smooth take off but when the car is going through the higher gears its smooth. I was told by the salesman that this particular AUTO reacted this way and it was nothing to worry about should I have it checked and by who. Would my local garage be capable as I have found them very helpful. (AUDI A3). Thanks.

Audi A3 1999

Hi, I have an Audi A3 Sport 1.8 (1999). A warning light keeps flashing on the dash with a cross through it. I do not have a car manual to find out what it is. The symbol looks a bit light a hexagon with a small square on top. Could you help?

The nearside crank shaft keeps breaking, it has been replaced three times now. The suspension has also been replaced using Volkswagen’s suspension. (1600)

Audi A3 2004

I turned on my A3 this morning and the clock was frozen and the radio in safe mode. I reset the clock and re-entered the radio code, all working fine now. No problems with the battery and I was not working at the car. Any ideas as to why it happened and will happen again? Thanks in advance, Jim.
