My Citroen Xsara Picasso`s driver`s side electric window stopped working so I changed the window motor inside the door panel, but when I put the window up it comes back down an inch and half. Any suggestions as to what is wrong?
I’m not sure what the correct sequence is for resetting windows on a Citroen but try this. Turn the ignition on and pull and hold the window switch up, once it reaches the top keep holding it up until you hear an electrical click or bleep, just a couple of seconds should do, now do the same when you open it push the button to the down position and hold it down until it clicks or bleeps, finally take it back up and see if it closes normally. If not then try doing the same thing in reverse down first then up Keith Swaddling from Sussex
