The Bentley GTC performance is as incredible as the GT Coupe. The twin turbo 6.0 engine powers this substantial car effortlessly to 60 MPH in less than 5 seconds - 4.8 seconds to be precise. The un-restricted top speed is on awesome 195MPH although this is of-course wasted on UK roads. At whatever speed you are driving there is always plenty of power at the touch of a pedal. Bentley has created an engineering masterpiece with the GTC.
The GTC handles incredibly well – especially for such a large convertible. The four wheel drive train provides lots of traction and very comfortable ride without the drawbacks that you would expect from a convertible. The body is super stiff & firm thanks to the extra stiffening in the shell. There is very little buffeting noise. Even at speeds of 70 MPH front seat passengers can chat without having to raise their voices.
The Bentley Continental GTC is almost certainly the most desirable convertible that you can buy. Every part of the car is beautifully crafted. Sumptuously thick leather & carpets together with beautifully trimmed wood are just some of the refinements that spoil the occupants of the cabin.
The Bentley Continental GTC has all the safety & security that you'd expect from a luxury car. Twin front and side airbags are fitted as standard. You would probably think that a (Bentley!) convertible would be the last car that you would want to have a crash in, but the GTC offers pop up roll over protection bars, electronic stability control and plenty of other safety features as standard. As expected a quality alarm is included although most insurance companies would almost certainly insist a vehicle tracking system to be fitted.
As with the GT Coupe this car really can be used every day – unlike many of its rivals. The GTC certainly offers fabulous accommodation for driver & front seat passenger, although room in the back is a little limited. There is certainly I little less room in the back that in the GT Coupe although this car is more than capable of carrying 4 adults & some luggage. Golf fans will be pleased that you can still fit a set of clubs in the boot.
The Bentley GTC has very few rivals. This car is certainly the best in its class and it is very easy to live with on a day to day basis. Of course the car not cheap to buy, but residuals are good.
