Porsche has a huge selection of motoring gifts ideal for the car enthusiast this Christmas. A series of bespoke driving experiences at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone are available to buy online at www.porsche.co.uk/shop or from Porsche centres nationwide.
There is also an extensive range of clothing, accessories, jewellery and model cars available from the online shop. Popular items for adults include the Porsche Crest Keyring (£15) and Mug (£10), the Ice cube tray (£10) and the Porsche 2012 Calendar (£40). For children, the 917 ‘pink pig’ Piggy bank (£35) and the Porsche Snack box (£15) are in high demand.
New to the collection this Christmas are the new iPad and iPhone cases, priced at £100 and £50 respectively. Made from original vehicle interior leather and decorated simply with a Porsche crest, the cases are fully lined with a padded protective external cover making them the perfect gifts to unwrap this Christmas.
For those wanting a more engaging Porsche experience, the Porsche Sport Driving School offers just that at its dedicated ice driving centres inside the Arctic Circle in Finland. These exclusive courses are run in small groups, allowing dedicated one-to-one tuition from Porsche Driving Consultants. The four day long Camp4 (£4,190) is the perfect introduction to learning these expert driving techniques. Guests enjoy practical learning balanced with plenty of time for adventure and relaxation in the form of guided snowmobile tours, excellent food and authentic Arctic chalet accommodation.
Closer to home, YouDrive@Porsche (£165) is a fun and action-packed half-day programme at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone which offers a unique opportunity for participants to bring their own car and sample the very best that the facility has to offer. One of the key features of the programme is one hour’s informative driving tuition on the centre’s low friction surfaces. Through a simulation of sheet ice, participants can experience challenging driving conditions and learn how to calmly and expertly manage such a situation. The programme also includes 30 minutes driving a 911 Carrera around the specially designed handling circuit with expert one-to-one tuition. YouDrive@Porsche takes place on selected Saturdays throughout 2012.
For a purely Porsche experience, the Porsche Driving Experience (£275) is the ultimate gift.
It offers 90 minutes of driving in the participant’s choice of Porsche and the bespoke guidance from a Porsche Driving Consultant throughout allows guests to tailor their experience to their individual wishes.
Porsche has not forgotten its youngest drivers this Christmas; new to the Porsche Design Driver’s Selection is the children’s bobsleigh (£100). With full steering control and design hints taken from the 918 Spyder, the snowmobile-inspired bobsleigh is set to be the coolest piece of kit on the slopes this year.
