VAT back again: Suzuki’s summer offers

It might seem we’ve gone back it time, but no; the VAT-free deals we saw at the start of the year have return thanks to Suzuki. The car maker is offering no VAT payable on its Alto SZ2 and Swift SZ2 until the end of September, meaning that you can pick up a new Alto model for as little as £6,495 or £8,495 for the Swift. These deals save you £1,325 on the Alto and £1,715 on the Swift SZ2 three door or £1,775 on the SZ2 five door.

The Alto SZ2 comes well equipped as standard with four airbags, electric front windows and remote central locking and all Alto models have a combined fuel consumption of 64.2mpg and emissions of 103g/km meaning they qualify for an Annual VED charge of just £20.

‘Sizzling_summer’ VAT free

Low rate PCP’s are also available on Alto models and, taking SZ2 at £6,495 as an example, can be driven away after a deposit of just £695. This is followed by 36 monthly payments of £129 with an optional balloon payment of £2,683 to keep the car at the end of the term.

For customers looking to buy a new Swift but spread the payments rather than outright purchase, Suzuki has extended its zero per cent finance offer on Swift SZ3 and SZ4 models with payments from £156 per month, payable over three years. Suzuki’s popular low rate PCP Driveplans are also included in the VAT free campaign. This scheme assists customers preferring a small deposit, with 36 monthly payments from just £149 for Swift SZ2 and a final balloon payment to keep the car at the end of the agreement.

The latest 2011 model Splash is also available on zero per cent Hire Purchase and requires a low deposit of 25 per cent or £2,367 for the 1.0-litre SZ3 model and payments are over three years at £198 per month. For just £10 per month more, a Splash SZ3 with a new and more powerful 1.2-litre engine is available with low emissions of 119g/km and only £30 in annual VED charges.

Suzuki’s highly competitive 0% APR three year Hire Purchase finance offers available on  SX4 and Grand Vitara models with 50 per cent deposit will also continue until the end of September 2011. The previous model Swift Sport 1.6-litre is also included with a ‘last chance to buy’ as there are only around 100 cars left.
