Consumer car review website marks two major milestones
Consumer car review website, RoadTestReports.co.uk is celebrating hitting two major new milestones.
The popular car review website has more than doubled its web traffic in just over a year, now attracting around 10,000 visitors a day compared to just over 4,000 back in early summer of 2009.
Not only that, but the innovative website, renowned for its focus on the consumers’ experiences of their cars, has now collated over 6,000 such reviews from car buyers.
Launched back in 2007 by the leading firm for motoring websites in the UK, Really Good Domains, the website quickly caught the attention of the car buying public who appreciated its informal approach to road test reviews and enjoyed the opportunity to share their own verdicts on cars.
As a result, the website quickly grew from its humble beginnings to where it stands today. Along the way extra features were added to the website including a daily news feed, car and van reviews from motoring journalists and the function for website visitors to respond to individual reviews to allow users to pose and answer questions and seek second opinions.
Really Good Domains, known for operating some of the UK’s most popular motoring websites such as SaveMoneyOnCars.co.uk, ContractHireAndLeasing.com, CarSupermarkets.co.uk and TheGreenCarWebsite.co.uk, is confident that the upward trend for the car and commercial review will only continue.
Explains the website’s spokesperson, Faye Sunderland: “RoadTestReports.co.uk has been one of our fastest growing websites and its meteoric rise seems almost unstoppable. We believe the secret to its success lies in its focus on real car buyers; such a website empowers the consumer, allowing them to find unbiased advice among each other.
“Additionally we’ve found through previous research on the website that motorists are very passionate about their cars, largely leaving very positive reviews. Around 70 per cent leave a four or a five star review on the website and it’s this enthusiasm for cars that drivers are looking to share,” she adds.

Notes to Editors:
About RoadTestReports.co.uk: Launched in June 2007, RoadTestReports.co.uk offers road tests on all the major cars and vans plus consumer reviews. The website provides “featured” reviews written by motoring journalists and reviews from consumers who tell us exactly what it is like to drive the vehicles day-in and day-out and the real practical implications of buying them. Anyone can submit a review, which gives it great appeal to website visitors and vehicle manufacturers. Currently the website attracts over 280,000 monthly users and over 560,000 monthly page views; these statistics have improved month in, month out and will continue to improve as more feature and consumer vehicle reviews are added.
