Citroen selects ‘unique’ DS3 winner

The winning picture in Citroen’s ‘uniqueness’ competition has been chosen as the ‘Angel’ shot as taken by David Dunne from Romford, Essex.

Selected by a panel of judges as well as through a public vote, the Angel received 1,130 votes in the competition’s on-line gallery.

The winning image, depicts a girl with angel’s wings, which was created by the movement of a sparkler. The caption, submitted with the picture reads, "Only one sparkler in one movement could have created this.  That sparkler is now gone, and can never be replaced…and an angel, no matter how artificial, will always be unique."

The contest, which ran on the Citroën DS3 microsite (www.ds3.citroen.com/uk), and was promoted via the Citroën Facebook page (www.facebook.com/citroenuk) challenged budding photographers to capture life’s unique moments, to embody the spirit of the DS3.  More than a 1,000 ‘unique’ images were submitted to compete for the grand prize – a stylish new DS3 for a year.
