Brilliant car, so much more for your money than BMW and I personally think they look better. Wonderful to drive, very smooth and extremely comfortable for both the driver and passengers. Good space in the cabin and boot and good amount of standard kit with some very nice extras on offer, which of course you can afford to treat yourself to because you’re buying an Audi not a BMW!

The Allroad is a very special car, the best Estate I’ve ever owned by far. Audi have spared nothing on this car, everthing about it is top notch and it is a complete pleasure to drive. The space you get is immense, even for an estate. Handling and drive are superb and if you’re looking for a new estate you really have to test drive one of these to get a real sense of just how good it is.

For me Audi have once again out shone their over priced and over hyped competitors with a class act. I have only ever driven estates out of necessity but this car is actually ejoyable to drive and handles so well you forget it is an estate you’re driving. Running costs are reasonable I feel for a car of this size and for such a brilliant car.

I have just test driven this car and immediately put my order in. What a car!! Absolutely blew me away and is more than a match for the M3 and with a smaller price tag. Can’t wait to take delivery!

I have had my car for 6 months and it is nothing less than brilliant. High quality finish, ride, performance and fuel econnomy (bearing in mind the size of the car) we have three young children and they can easily get themselves in and out and we have much more room than the previous cars ML and 5 series. It is certainly a head turner as well, we know several people that have bought the Q7 since we have had ours.

Audi have really come up with something special in this car. It looks like a beast and it’s engine certainly delivers!! It’s a joy every morning to press the starter button and hear that throaty growl. Equally happy at low or high revs there is nothing you can throw at this car that it can’t cope with and it does it with such style and comfort. This is the best car I’ve ever owned and the pleasure I get from driving it hasn’t diminished from the first day I got it. Well done Audi, 5 out of 5.

I’ve just had the pleasure of driving one of these for a week and I have to say ’what a car’! This is a real bad boy and will definately give BMW a run for their money. An absolute joy to drive I think Audi were wise to restrict the top speed to 155mph because it is so easy to creep up on the old speedometer without realising it. Was I sad to give the car back? I nearly cried!! The down side? The price. It really is an amazing car but more expensive than its rivals.

This has been a most disappointing experience. The look of the car is fine but te problems started from day one. The PDI was very poor and there was still remenents of the wax coating left on several parts of the bodywork making it feel quite rough to the touch and dulled the appearance in places. The car is almost 3 years old now and has done 6000 miles only. We have had to endure squeaks and rattles from the seats, dashboard and door panels and to date they have never been cured. I am told that this is a common fault. The only way to overcome the squeaks and rattles is to leave the radio on a music programme to relieve the torture. The power boot soon gave up and you had to use it manually for quite a while and was eventually cured I was told by a software update. Have had intermittent trouble with the emission control system and the car is quite heavy on fuel and if you leave the engine on whilst you go to get something out of the boot the smell of fumes is unpleasant. Metal strips on the dashboard have worked their way loose and various warning lights have shown up from time to time. The electric wing mirrors sometimes develop a mind of their own but after a minute or so return to normal. The parking brake system malfunctioned on a number of occassions with the warning light appearing on the instrument panal and sometimes you had the warning light flashing for the whole of your journey. It happened so often that you never knew if it was a brake fault or an electronic malfunction. The screen for the driver information occasionaly had a mind of it’s own. On two occassions when I had to call out the Audi emergency service it took between 3 and four hours to get there although I must admit that I had parked the car in London and then called them. Generally I also feel that the build quality is not as good as it should be for a flagship model. The dealer service is fine but Audi’s customer complaint department leaves a lot to be desired.

I have now had my Q7 a year - and boy what a motor. I tested all the usual suspects, Rangie, X5, ML - nothing drives like this or feels like a car. We have used it 7 up on a number of occasions, performance is excellent and I have had up to 32mpg on a run, ave is 26.8 over the last 16000 miles - cant argue with that. We have used it for dogs, horse feed and all our gear to go on holiday - it swallows everything and is supremely comfortable on a long journey. Make sure you get the parking camera - I have and it makes parking a doddle - just remember the size of this beast !! Will probably have another as nothing comes close. Audi have BMW and merc well beaten here.
