Renault Consumer Car Reviews

Renault Laguna Sport Tourer 2.0 dci 175 GT 5dr 2006

Excellent value for money, loads of extras as standard on this particular model. A very high quality car, built well and comfortable to drive. Spacious enough for a family of 5 but maybe not as much space as other estates? I think there’s ample though. Good car, definately better than average.

This van really stands out from the crowd thanks to some very stylish bodywork. Getting your company name noticed whilst on the road is not to be underated and this van certainly achieves that. The van itself is very easy and enjoyable to drive and comes with a good standard spec. Excellent value for money.

Renault Modus 2005

I love my Modus! I have had it from new and it is quite simply the best car I have ever driven. You can park it easily, the fact that the seats can collapse/move is an added bonus, and you sit nice and high and get good visibility of the road. I also feel very safe in the car and it is so easy to drive. When my lease expires in April 2008, I shall probably end up getting another Modus. Well done Renault!

Nice car to drive on a daily basis. Very comfortable and easy to drive. Good space in front and back and nice sized boot. All in all a well thought out saloon that looks classy.

Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet 2006

I’ve just bought the 1.5 diesel version of these and am incredibly pleased. Although a smaller engine than I normally go for it is quite responsive and surprisingly quick! The car is comfortable affordable to maintain and stylish and although not much leg room in the back I don’t think I would get a similar car for the price I paid. Its cheep to tax and the MPG is amazing!! The interior has lots of space in front and plenty of storage - the boot is huge when top up with top down it’s a lot smaller but does the job. I love the glass roof helps to make it feel more spacious and the sound system is good for a standard piece of kit - overall I would recommend one of these to anyone except if you have a large family!

Renault Grand Espace 2.0 DCi Dymonique 2007

Great drive with enough power and reasonable around corners. Very smooth acceleration. Excellent and comfy seats on rails which make moving back and forth to swap boot room for leg room easy. Panoramic sun roof superb option.

Renault Kangoo 2001

The Renault Kangoo is a good Muti-Purpose Car. It is very good at towing as you can not even feel yourself towing a trailer. The Kangoo just cruises along very smoothly along the roads and motorways. The car it self is very comfortable, you can fit 5 full adults in the car without feeling uncomfy, you have the luxury of air-con which cars down the Kangoo very quick in just under 2mins. The car also benifits tall people as it has a very large space for headroom. The driving position is perfect for any driver as it is high up above standard cars. You have got a huge plastic based boot for transporting big loads i.e. large dogs (enough room for our Airedale Terrier & Westie to lay flat out). In the back you have loads of leg room. The rear seats fold up to the front seats so you have doubled the boot space like a mini van, it has tie down d-rings in the boot floor, the boot floor is all plastic. The plastic floor has lots of benifits i.e. going to the dump, transporting dirty loads as it just wipes clean very easy. We have never had any problems with our Kangoo. We have nothing bad to say about it because it is perfect in every way.

Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet 106dCi Dynamique 2006

I’ve had the car 18 months & never had any problem with the car whatsoever. Really impressed with the acceleration & handling even though it’s the first Diesel I’ve owned and I can’t even remember the last time I had to fill the thing up, very economical considering the stop-start driving I do every day. Fun car to drive, looks good with the roof up or down, comfortable and when the roof is up the boot space is enormous. The only downside is that you can’t get a spare wheel (not even a space saver) for this model, instead you’re supplied with 2 cans of inflating foam, great for a nail or slow puncture but no use when your wife damages the sidewall of the tyre ("honestly, I didn’t hit the kerb") & Renault Assistance (which is included as part of the warranty) won’t attend without charging the earth as it’s not a warranty related issue. Oh & the horn is like a toy car hoot, you might as well shout...
