A premium quality car, easy to drive, with ample power, good economy (52 mpg) and a taut and precise feel. The ride is undeniably firm, but the excellent build quality means rattles and suspension noises are minimal. The diesel engine is quietly audible at idle, but becomes almost indistinguishable from the petrol variant once on the move. Access to the interior can be awkward front or back because door apertures are on the small side, however, this improves with familiarity. Controls have a quality feel and operate with precision. The standard radio offers poor sound quality which seems to be at odds with the rest of the car. Space might seem tight by modern standards, but compared to family cars of the seventies and eighties there is plenty enough space for a family of four with luggage.

I’ve wanted one of these for years and it was well worth waiting for. A great driver’s car,I love it! I’m getting 40mpg around town not 50mpg like BMW say, but who cares?? Get one now!

Great car, only draw back for me is the boot space as a salesman I found it too small, apart from that the car is a cracker, has the wow factor and handles like a car should.
