I can’t believe the amount of People complaining about a leaking roof. This is my second CC and both have leaked it is part and parcel of having a convertible roof. The Car is a joy own. So Its got it’s idiosyncrasy’s most cars have. However I must admit the roof imploding sounds worrying . Anyhoo! I love my CC and I’m looking forward to a long HOT summer so I can drive with my roof down and my music on. I may be 43 and I may be having a "Mid-Life Crisis" but it’s good fun and it makes me feel like a "Gangsta Rapper" cruising down Hollywood Boulevard... Hell yer!!! lol :)

Thank goodness I read your reports I was considering trading down my adorable and totally watertight Mercedes SLK for a Megane CC. Strangely enough my dealer failed to mention anything about the common leak problem. You have saved me possible grief and for that I wish to thank you all.

Only had this car for a week and still on cloud 9 after trading in a rather elderly Rover 25. Still getting used to things but a really nice car to drive. Nice side system. Noticed a number of reflections in the windscreen though, is this due to the glass roof? Recently noticed a very irritating noise from the rear drivers side like the wind is getting in somewhere. opened and closed the roof and did get rid of it but still there after another drive with the roof open. Also, noticed that the fuel filler cap is not locking when I lock the car. Told by the garage that I’m not locking it properly with the card (I am!) It’s all ok at work with a secure car park but very unhappy leaving it with the filler cap open in certain other places. Still under warranty so will be returning to Renault on my next day off work! My car has a spare tyre/jack dispite other comments on this page.

I have had my car 4 days....tried the roof 3 times now and on the 4th go the plastic bit that lifts up, letting the roof move then moves back once complete, doesn’t work; it lifts up but then doesn’t go back down. It’s going back to dealer on saturday, hope this is not that start of many problems.
