Very relaxing drive once you get used to the 6 spd EGS gearshift. Excellent luggage carrying capacity. Good comfort levels inside. Good visibility to front and sides. I Like the fixed steering wheel hub and controls. it is quite easy to achieve betweeen 45 and 50mpg even in urban driving. The 3rd row seats are easy to deploy, but a tight squeeze for an adult. performance is, for the size of car, reasonable with 70-80mph easily maintained without fuss. There are a few niggles. No car is perfect. Engine noise in low gears is loud under hard acceleration. The EGS system automatically changes down as the car slows. This does make it difficult to achieve a gradual smooth stop without adjusting pressure on the brake pedal. I would like the rearview mirror to be wider to include some view through the rear side windows. I haven’t had the car long enough for reliability or dealer support to be an issue, but so far I would be happy to recommend this model.

The car looks fab, matches our honey coloured brick work, and the space inside is great for all the kids I look after. However, they are getting as sick as me of the car cutting out and us having to stop and restart. yesterday was the last straw. The car cut out on me on a main road and just by luck I managed to get into a layby. Got it going again and got home. Car juddered and was going to fail just as I was reversing into my drive, then it surged with power and I shot backwards into my gate post. Insurance company really good about it. Car still able to be driven, did school run and it happened again, this time I nearly landed up on a pavement but managed to get it under control. Garage has it now and they are going to replace the fuse box as it is faulty. However it looks as though there might be a bit of a battle about the "blame "situation. Has anyone else had similar problems to this? what if anything was diagnosed as the problem, what happened? Has the problem been solved?
