I ordred my van on the 2nd June 2009 from AUTOWORLD Wolverhampton and was told it was made in Luton (British jobs etc..) with a delivery date of mid July-early August so decided to wait for 1st september for 59 reg. called AUTOWORLD mid August to be told the French are on shutdown for all of August ! The salesman lied through his teeth about it being built in Luton as all high roof models are built by Renault in France. called the lying salesman early September and AUTOWORLD could not find any record of my van or when it might arrive. Mid September I called Renault U.K. and there was still no record of my order. So at the end of September I cancelled my order and bought a Citroen! Stick that in your pipe and smoke it !!! p.s. Very happy with the Citroen.

As I own a sign company, the only down side to the long wheel base is that it won’t just take a 10ft board without having one of the rear doors open a little, it could do with being a bit longer. Apart from that the van has been a pleasure to drive, it has been reliable, economical & looks great. I had a good deal when I bought it new, the electric windows & air con are a must, I would recommend the van to anyone. I have heard from a couple of my customers that they have had problems with the gear boxes on their Trafic / Vivaro that have cost them a small fortune to replace. I’m not sure if this is a common fault, would appreciate feedback from anyone with same story.

The air bag warning light and the service light keeps coming on. Keep away from all Renault cars and vans...
