Peugeot Expert Tepee Eurobus 2009

1 star review

Hi all, I bought the Peugeot Eurobus from cab direct brand new. The problems started one week after driving; the rear side door is very stiff to close and open needing the customer to slam it to shut. I took it to the Peugeot dealer and they just put some grease and oil to lubricate it, which has not solved the problem. They are now charging me £150 to fix the roller which is not covered by the warranty. The seat belt on the back front row middle seat won’t retract; I have taken it to the dealer on at least 4 occasions, and they still can’t find the fault. I have asked them to change it, but their answer is that it is not a Peugeot seat belt. I called cab direct and they told me it is a Peugeot belt, and to insist the Peugeot garage change it. It was only then that they said they would change it under warranty. 40k done on milleage, now the near side anti roll bar worn, near side bush tear, but this car is supposed to be a taxi, meaning these parts should last a bit longer. I personally think Cabdirect’s after sales service stinks, their customer service manager was supposed to call me back about the car’s problems, but it’s 3 weeks now and I’m still waiting. They built the Peugeot Eurobus or Teppe for taxi purpose, but I reckon it is not suitable for taxi, more like for domestic use.

Wish I had read what was on this site before I got mine. At 30,000 miles in for clutch repair, thanks a lot Peugeot, supplying a vehicle that is not up to the job. Trading Standards say a product must be fit for purpose, this is clearly not up to the job of taxi work, you should be ashamed, it eats headlight bulbs and anti role bar bushes.

Well what can you say? 19,800 miles and already a new clutch and flywheel. It’s now going in for a new anti-roll bar and a banging noise from the back. I think that all the peope who bought this vehicle need to get together and go to Peugeot together as going it alone seems to get you nowhere!!
