I have driven the GTR on public roads and on the race track. Whilst it is very quick and you can become involved in an exciting experience on the track where it does stand out as a very capable easy car to enjoy. On public roads it is very docile and easy to drive. What it lacks is involvement in terms of sound from the exhaust, and road feel and feed back. To the point of becoming a boring day to day car. But because its awesome speed comes up so fast and effortlessly, you could lose your licence real quick. Compare it to a Subaru STI or Porsche GT3 which gives you great driver feel and involvement at slow or high speeds. The GTR needs a better sounding exhaust and the driver needs to be allowed to hold the gear changes for longer during shift up. But it still is a great car.
