I have just recently purchased a Grande Punto sporting T-Jet and I absolutely love it. However, after about a week, a warning appeared stating low oil pressure stop and turn off engine. This only occurred when going round a sharp bend or a roundabout. Then, last night, it happened everytime I turned a corner. I pulled into a garage to check the oil level and it was bone dry! It was supposedly serviced and checked before I drove it out of the showroom, so I was a bit baffled. I filled it with some oil, but came out this morning and it had subsequently leaked it all over the road!! Maybe some technician hasn’t put the sump plug back in correctly?, just waiting for them to recover it. Not a happy bunny, but I still love the car. Watch this space!!

Fiat Grande Punto 2009

Had my car only 5 weeks and the clutch is making a whining noise towards the end of each day. At the same time a slight vibration can be felt in the clutch and accelerator. Conveniently the garage never have time to assess the problem later in the day. Has anybody else experienced clutch issues on their new cars? To make matters worse whilst the car was at the garage for another matter the car has been dented on the wheel arch! Can’t believe how unlucky I am sadly the dealership cant understand why I am so annoyed. Due back there tomorrow for the next episode.

This car is sluggish , it feels like the brakes are always on and so much condensation it sometimes rains inside the car. STEER CLEAR.
