After purchasing the car as the 2nd owner 6 months ago with the car at 8,800 miles I have been very pleased with the car overall however, I recently drove the car up an inclined slip road and noticed the dreaded clutch slip in 5th and 6th gear and later, occassionally in 4th. I took the car which was now 16 months old on a 2009 - 09 plate with just 13,800 miles on the clock, back to the citroen dealer in Warrington. After initially being told clutches are not under warranty and that the issues I raised on clutch slip were on previous models up to 2008, the dealer then performed excellently and the car was repaired free of charge without any issues. Apparently in this case it was not an oil leak but an issues with the springs in the clutch plate! Not sure if this was corect but happy with service and the fact repaired F.O.C and has been perfect since. Anyone with this clutch issue should print off all previous issues reported and provide these to support there claim and push for repairs F.O.C - Don’t be fobbed off.
