Renault Grand Modus 2008

I bought my Grand Modus less than 2 years ago and the clutch started slipping and then went bang; I have only done 17000 miles. I have had 10 new cars previously and not one have them has had a burnt out clutch, in fact my son has one of them which has now done 80000 miles and still has not had a new clutch. Renault have said it is my fault and it has cost me £1262.17 and they say they are not going to pay.
