Forget Clarkson’s dribble, after all he’s only a B grade comedy writer who was born with looks that heavy drinking women wouldn’t look twice at. We need to remember that this clown couldn’t drive a finger up a greased orifice let alone judge whether a sports car was worth it’s salt. I have the enviable pleasure of kicking the tires every morning of a Z4 Coupe Si (Yes the M is for those that live near race tracks) that from a review he’s put his name to suggests is a dog. I’m convince he’s had a brian snap that recalled visions of his past girl friends and god forbid what he falls into bed with these days, let’s not go there. Let me tell you these things are made to give punters with minimal folding the option to wean off precription drugs and getting drunk with the boys. Forget the other Germans (build quality is not up to the flag yet) and the Japs , the Z4 Coupe is like an inbuilt alarm clock, it just rings louder the longer you avoid it, like an itch you have to scratch. If your last memory was good, get ready to put your license to circulate on the line because this car will give you the don’t care atitude (And I’m not advocating this, I’m only speaking from personal experience) to part with a few points and pounds , just for the hell of ticking those boxes. If you can’t afford to buy one, do your self a favor and go and test drive one, you will understand why people like me have battled with the wife (not the kids they love it) to sacrificed quite a few mortage repayments to live life today and pay for it later. Believe me it’s worth the experience. These life experiences are not going to get any cheaper (sorry for sounding like a poli). Put your fist in your pants and tell me if you want to have a go, quality machines are like sex, they are the most infectious sensations you will ever have.
