Still running in so not going to comment on outright performance (although it’s plenty quick enough for most road conditions.) Cornering however is something else - flat, more grip than you’d ever need (you’d have to be trying very hard to push the nose wide and very composed. Small criticism will be reserved for the very hard ride on badly kept village roads at low speed but the trade off in cornering ability is more than worth it (for me anyway.) Fantastic so far, can’t wait until it’s run in properly.

SEAT Ibiza SC Sport 2008

Being very sceptical as my last Seat was second hand diesel Ibiza bought in Spain, I tried the new SC Sport. Things have changed! This car is fantastic, it does exactly what is says on the box. In fact I was so pleased with the way it drove I was reluctant to give them the test car back until my own arrived. The only negative I have found is that the instruments are hard to read when the sun is shining.
