This is the worst car I have ever had the misfortune to purchase. On its test drive it drove mint; it was a very comfortable and well-equipped vehicle (reverse parking sensors, 6 speed, air con, electric everything etc). If anyone is considering buying one of these - don’t! Enjoy the test drive, then walk away. I bought it from auto-trader and within two weeks the stupid credit card key had broken meaning a ridiculous locking the car process ensued. It has black smoke every 20 miles or so, loves drinking oil and had the worst petrol consumption of any car I have ever owned, upto and including a 3.0 petrol BMW! Walk away!

Purchased new in January 2008. Three and a half years later, I’ve put up 76k miles without any problems. Renault have definitely sorted out their reliability issues with this one. Great car to drive and travel in.
