The Kia Cee'd, pronounced 'seed' is designed by Europeans, tested on Europeans and made in a brand new purpose built factory in Europe. During development the top secret project was known simply as 'ED' - for European Design - and the 'CE' part was soon added as shorthand for the Community of Europe. A worthy contender to the best hatchback crown. Great performance from the 1.6 engine and fantastic fuel economy. Spacious, safe and good value for money.
